Vibes/Drums/Percussion:
Philly vibraphonist Tony Miceli runs this site--includes online lessons and an interactive message board; mainly vibes, but other instruments, too. Tony is a big influence on Monique.
Located in Nyack, NY, it is easily accessible and is a great place to hang
out. Frank and Greg love to talk vintage, and they have tons of new equipment coming in all the
time. Stop in and say hello to John Hvasta, Monique's drum teacher!
Mark is Monique's vibes teacher in NYC. Mark is also an Alexander Technique Instructor. AT is a method you can learn to reduce stress and muscular tension while performing or doing everyday activities.
These guys will get you major percussion equipment at a great price; they have a lot of information, and they all tell really good stories.
Warren is a highly regarded jazz vibraphonist. Monique looks forward to studying with him also.
