This photo of my garden is a poem about growth--everywhere I go, I scatter seeds, trusting in the power of the creative force. When my sunflowers grow to 7 or 8 feet tall, when my students grow stronger and start to believe in themselves again, when I make a new friend or dream up a rhyme or do something new on the vibes or drums--all of these are a harvest of joy!
